The
advancement of technology has been rapidly developing since its birth. Through
this advancement of technology the TV industry has been able to create the most
vivid, detailed, and emotionally driven TV experiences that continue to make
the TV industry thrive today. Also through these new advancements it has
changed the way we view Television on a day-to-day basis. The TV industry now
has access to computer-generated imagery (C.G.I.), the best cameras HD cameras,
green screens, and even 3D. The way we watch TV is more exhilarating and it
feels more realistic than ever before. The technology advancement in TV shows
has allowed us to be able to capture the scenery, emotion, and the heart of the
TV show.
One of the most successful
technological inventions of our time is computer-generated imagery. The
creators of a film use C.G.I to create imagery that is not actually there or
special effects that add to the existing imagery. C.G.I. allows for the
creation and/or enhancement of television shows, without it many shows either
would not exist or would be less intriguing. C.G.I. is so commonly used today
that some of your favorite shows might utilize its benefits. Some popular shows
that use this technology are Walking Dead, Supernatural, Doctor Who, Game of
Thrones and Lost. These shows prove that television has evolved through
technology and through this change we are able to feel more connected to the
shows we watch.
Not only has the software in the TV
industry risen up, but the hardware has also risen up as well. Cameras have
played a vital part in playing the most in depth picture in a TV show; you feel
the energy flowing through you when an epic scene comes along. Green screens
allow us to simply go places where we cannot even image being. These green
screens help set up the landscape of television shows. Green screens are now
commonly used on a daily basis for filming whether it is movies, television, or
music videos.
The TV industry is always trying to
give us the best imagery and sound as possible not for just our generation, but
for the generations before and after us. The TV industry wants their TV shows
to have an impact on our lives, because there can always be a moral we can
learn from, either by watching one TV series or just a few episodes. There are
TV shows out there that make us think twice about life and can even be
life-changing.
